Investing in Staff is a one of our three funding priorities, and our Classroom Grants are one way we support WPS staff, the heartbeat of the district. Classroom Grants are open year-round and open to any full-time WPS school based staff member. Applications are reviewed monthly by the WPS Foundation Program Committee comprised of WPS and WPS Foundation staff, and community members. Grants must align with one of our three funding priorities:

• removing barriers to student success
• innovation in the classroom
• investing in staff

WPS Staff may request up to $1,000 and are eligible for one grant per staff member per school year. Submissions received after Thursday, April 2 will be reviewed and funded for the 2026-2027 school year.
